We’re recruiting a Civil Design Engineer to join the Technical team of a leading volume housebuilder in Warrington. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership of civil design packages and contribute to efficient, compliant, value‑engineered solutions across new residential developments. Ideal for someone who’s eager to learn, develop, and grow within a high‑performing technical function.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering design concepts and detailed packages for new housing developments
• Use design software (PDS, Causeway Flow) to develop highways, drainage, and earthworks solutions
• Manage the process for technical approvals including S278, S38, S104 and S185
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and external consultants to deliver robust, cost‑effective designs

Requirements

• Experience within residential development or consultancy supporting housebuilding projects
• Understanding of highways and drainage design principles
• Knowledge of PDS and/or Causeway Flow (beneficial)
