Civil Design Engineer – Reinforced Concrete | Nuclear Projects

Location: Bristol (Hybrid – 2 days WFH)

Contract length: 12 months

Rate: Up to £65/hr (Inside IR35)

Expectations and Skillsets

• Lead the technical review of design queries, detailed structural calculations for reinforced concrete elements and design changes.
• Perform technical reviews of designs while engaging in the drawing process itself using the Ansys software.
• Ensure accurate and compliant delivery of civil engineering design packages.
• Analyse and coordinate intricate RC structure designs to the highest standards.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering with a Degree or HND in Engineering, Science or STEM subjects.
• Strong expertise in Ansys software and reinforced concrete structures.
• Knowledge of British civil engineering standards.
• Experience in regulated industries (nuclear, energy, defence).
• Will require security clearance.
