Job summary

Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is expanding its civil engineering team to support major AMP8 frameworks across the UK. The roles will focus on non-infrastructure water engineering projects within a flexible and supportive environment.

As a Civil Engineer, you will lead project deliverables, design specifications, and engage with clients while mentoring junior engineers. A degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered Engineer status are essential for this position, alongside experience in the water

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
• Experience in detailed design in the water sector is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive in managing deadlines and quality.
• Excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, and designs.

Whether you are based near one of our regional offices or prefer a flexible, hybrid or remote pattern, you’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team helping deliver meaningful infrastructure that shapes communities.

• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, and detailed designs.
• Collect, analyse and manage technical data.
• Coordinate work across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules and quality standards.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior/graduate engineers.
• Stay current with relevant codes, standards and innovations in the sector.
