Our client is looking for a talented Civil CAD Technician to join their growing engineering team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of water and infrastructure projects, supporting the delivery of high‑quality, technically robust designs.

Reporting directly to the Civil Regional Discipline Lead, you’ll play a key role in coordinating, delivering, and maintaining the quality of all drawing and modelling work within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed 3D models and 2D construction drawings to a high technical standard
  • Maintain and update drawing registers, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Coordinate design work across multidisciplinary and offshore teams
  • Support digital delivery using Autodesk Revit, ProjectWise, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Mentor and support junior and offshore team members
  • Ensure all designs meet CDM and QA standards
About You
  • Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary engineering environment
  • Strong 2D drafting and 3D modelling skills (Autodesk Revit essential)
  • Good working knowledge of CAD standards, QA processes, and digital workflows
  • Prior experience on water or wastewater projects (essential)
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and delivery‑driven with strong problem‑solving skills
