Job summary

Denholm Industrial Services Ltd in Yeovil is offering a PAYE full-time apprenticeship in scaffolding. You will work with experienced scaffolders, gain hands-on experience, and progress toward CISRS Scaffolding Apprenticeship.

Key activities include erecting, altering and dismantling scaffolding, reading scaffold drawings, and following site instructions. You will attend college and complete apprenticeship training while developing practical skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in scaffolding.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Good work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Full UK driving license (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding.
• Learn to read scaffold drawings and follow site instructions.
• Work safely under the guidance of experienced scaffolders and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Attend college and complete all apprenticeship training requirements.
• Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) procedures.
• Attend toolbox talks and site briefings.
• Develop practical skills and industry knowledge to achieve your CISRS qualification.
