Job summary

Compass Shine is seeking an experienced CiC Team Leader to guide our Children in Care service in Coventry, delivering high quality emotional health and wellbeing support to children in care, care leavers, carers and professionals.

You will provide operational leadership, supervise practice, manage a clinical caseload and lead a team of practitioners and counsellors. You will oversee referral pathways and drive service development in collaboration with Coventry City Council and CAMHS.

Qualifications

• Accredited counsellor with supervisory qualification.
• Experience leading teams and providing supervision.
• Experience with children, young people and families.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and relevant legislation.
• Experience with multi-agency partnerships.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Children in Care beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the CiC team and supervision.
• Lead a team of practitioners and counsellors and oversee referral pathways.
• Manage a clinical caseload and ensure interventions are responsive and outcome focused.
• Contribute to service development and build partnerships with health, education and social care.
• Support strategic planning and innovative approaches in a values-led organisation.
