Continuous Improvement Technician – Bridgwater, Somerset
Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements throughout the factory, supporting the operational excellence agenda on the site and identifying multiple opportunities to improve production efficiency and site performance.
This role is all about identifying areas of improvement within our production processes. You will need to be able to identify areas of improvement, support solutions and communicate effectively with various teams internally to achieve a better practice / solution.
You will need previous experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment ideally in food or drinks production (FMCG or pharmaceuticals). Experience being involved with continuous improvements within production or quality improvements would also be required.
Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt knowledge would be desirable.
You will need to be a great communicator to engage and collaborate with various internal stakeholders. At times you will need to influence, persuade and negotiate to push your ideas for improvement through.
