Job summary

Frontline Church Liverpool is seeking an Operations Lead to provide leadership of the staff team and oversee the church's operational systems, enabling life, ministry, and strategic growth. This senior role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on involvement, including practical oversight of our building.

We are a small, collaborative team; the role offers flexibility for the right candidate, with a strong pastoral leadership dimension and a focus on safety, compliance, and growth.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience, ideally in church or charity settings
• Strong oversight of facilities, HR, and safety processes
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on implementation

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maintaining a strong and healthy staff culture in line with Frontline Church values
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and performance management in collaboration with HR advisor
• Oversee the church building, maintenance, compliance, and long-term planning
• Oversee procurement and maintenance of equipment
• Ensure health and safety compliance and accessibility requirements
• Provide pastoral and church leadership contributions as appropriate
