Job summary

DCK Group in Wakefield is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate for 15 hours per week to cover peak festive periods. Based in Wakefield with potential store travel, you’ll work with a Team Leader, delivering in-store merchandising, stock deliveries and guest service.

Immediate start possible during the Christmas rush. The role is temporary through 26 December 2026, with a 9:00am start and shifts Tue/Wed/Thu balance, and benefits including jewellery discounts, pension, life assurance and training

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.
• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems

Job description

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Wakefield - 15 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 5 Thursday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Festive Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Wakefield butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.
