Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate for stores in the Stoke area during the peak festive period. The role is 25 hours per week and temporary through 26/12/2026. Access to own vehicle and a full driving licence are required.

The team operates in a busy retail environment across stores within a zone. Hourly pay is £12.71 with staff benefits including jewellery allowances, mileage and parking expenses, pension, life assurance, training, and long service recognition.

Qualifications

• Prior or current customer-facing experience, retail or fashion brand exposure is a plus.
• Sales or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to a smartphone (Apple or Android) with up-to-date OS.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to visual guidelines.
• Handle deliveries and stock replenishment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in-store.

Job description

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Stoke - 25 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Monday, 5 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 5 Thursday, 5 Friday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Stock butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines

• Putting out deliveries of new stock

• Maintaining housekeeping standards

• Setting up promotional activities

• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.

• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
