Job summary

DCK Group in Leeds Thorpe Park is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate for a temporary role covering the peak Christmas period. The role is 25 hours per week with a 9:00am start, and you will be based at Leeds Thorpe Park with potential travel to other stores within your zone.

You must have access to your own vehicle and a full driving licence. You will merchandise, handle deliveries, maintain standards, set up promotions, and work with host teams to boost sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is required.
• Retail/sales experience is preferred.
• Access to a smartphone with up-to-date OS is required.
• Availability to start immediately and work during the peak Christmas period.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to visual guidelines.
• Handle deliveries of new stock and set up displays.
• Maintain store housekeeping standards.
• Set up promotional activities within the store.
• Collaborate with host management teams to drive sales and relationships.

Job description

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Leeds Thorpe Park - 25 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Monday, 5 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 5 Thursday, 5 Friday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Leeds Thorpe Park butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines




• Putting out deliveries of new stock




• Maintaining housekeeping standards




• Setting up promotional activities




• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.




• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred




• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
