Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate in Horwich for the peak festive period. This role requires a 9:00am start and a 25-hour weekly schedule across five days, with potential store travel within the zone. A driving licence and own vehicle are required.

The role is temporary until 26/12/2026, with shift patterns and coaching from a Team Leader. Hourly pay is £12.71, and benefits include free jewellery monthly, a pension scheme, life assurance, training opportunities, and long service

Qualifications

• Prior customer-facing experience is required.
• Sales/retail experience is preferred.
• Own smartphone with up-to-date OS (iOS/Android).

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Horwich - 25 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Monday, 5 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 5 Thursday, 5 Friday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Ellesmere Port butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines

• Putting out deliveries of new stock

• Maintaining housekeeping standards

• Setting up promotional activities

• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.

• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
