Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate in Halifax for 15 hours per week during the busy festive period. The role pays £12.71 per hour and is temporary until 26 December 2026, with travel to stores within your zone.

You will work alongside a Team Leader, focus on customer service, merchandising, and stock deliveries, and enjoy generous staff benefits including jewellery discounts and company pension.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.
• Sales or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with up to date operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising our product to visual merchandising guidelines.
• Putting out deliveries of new stock.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Setting up promotional activities.
• Working with host management teams to build relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Job description

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Halifax - 15 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 5 Thursday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Halifax but may be required to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.
