Job summary

DCK Group in Edinburgh Gyle is seeking a part-time Christmas Retail Associate to support busy peak period sales. 20 hours per week with shift pattern across Tue–Sat, starting as soon as possible.

You’ll assist in merchandising, stock deliveries and promotions while engaging customers and building relationships with host teams. Ideal candidates have prior customer-facing experience, a preference for fashion retail, and access to a smartphone with up-to-date OS.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.
• Sales experience or retail experience is preferred.
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines.
• Putting out deliveries of new stock.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Setting up promotional activities.
• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Edinburgh Gyle - 20 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 5 Thursday, 5 Friday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Festive Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Edinburgh Gyle butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.
