The salary for this role is £12.72 per hour.

As a Christmas Customer Advisor you will greet customers with a smile, offer product and gift advice, and create a memorable shopping experience that keeps them coming back all year round. This is a temporary contract with potential for a permanent role depending on local opportunities.

About the role

You will work in a Boots store and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your responsibilities include:

  • Customer Interaction: Offer thoughtful advice, recommend products and highlight our amazing offers.
  • Till Operation: Wrap up purchases at the counter or support our self‑checkout systems.
  • Stock Management: Keep shelves full so customers can always find exactly what they need.
  • Store Presentation: Ensure all store areas look their best.
  • Online Order Support: Assist with deliveries, picking and packing for online orders as needed.
What you’ll need to have
  • Available to work Bank Holidays including Black Friday week and weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day.
  • Customer Service Skills: Comfortable approaching customers and love to leave a lasting impression.
  • Operations Ready: Balance customer care with daily shop floor and operational tasks.
  • Tech‑Savvy: Happy to learn and use new technology, including handheld mobile devices, tills and self‑checkouts.
  • Team Player: Collaborative, one‑team mindset necessary to help each other meet store goals.
  • Physical Stamina: On your feet, standing, walking and lifting.
  • Brand Ambassador: Love our Boots ethos, products and services and share them with customers.
It would be great if you also have
  • Experience in a retail or customer‑facing environment.
  • Familiar with Boots products and services.
