Job summary

Veolia in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled CHP technician to service combined heat and power plants, conduct fault finding, and visit customer sites using a company vehicle. The role requires strong electrical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to read electrical drawings.

The successful candidate will support the Customer Account Manager, assist with complex fault diagnosis, and undertake additional duties related to CHP plant as directed by management.

Qualifications

• CHP system expertise and relevant qualification.
• Strong electrical and technical proficiency.
• Knowledge of health, safety and compliance requirements.
• Valid driving licence to visit customer sites and operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and Veolia procedures.
• Adhere to all Veolia policies and CHP servicing standards.
• Be familiar with engine manufacturer servicing schedules.
• Visit customer sites using company vehicles for CHP servicing and breakdown response.
• Interpret electrical drawings and use OEM software packages for fault finding.
• Assist Customer Account Manager and Team Leaders on CHP maintenance and fault finding.
• Provide advanced electrical training to Service Engineers when required.
