Job summary

The CBSO is seeking a Chorus Manager for a fixed-term maternity cover, based in Birmingham. The role leads all singing programmes within the Artistic Planning department and collaborates closely with the Chorus Producer to ensure high-quality delivery.

The post involves setting and monitoring budgets across choral programmes and ensuring each programme achieves its targets, reporting to the department Director. This is a maternity cover on a fixed-term basis.

Job description

The CBSO is looking for a Chorus Manager for a period of maternity cover on a fixed term basis.

The Chorus Manager leads on all programmes of activity for singers within the CBSO’s Artistic Planning department. The Chorus Manager works closely with the Chorus Producer to ensure that all activities are delivered to the highest quality. Working closely with the department Director, the Chorus Manager will set and monitor budgets across the choral programmes and ensure that all programmes deliver against their targets.
