Job summary

Mane Contract Services seeks an experienced Avionic Technician to support Chinook helicopter maintenance at Middle Wallop. The role covers scheduled and unscheduled avionic maintenance under QR640 and Boeing Part 145 authorisation, ensuring safety and quality.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, perform testing and documentation, and hold or transfer an SC from day one. The contract runs for six months with day shifts and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Avionic Technician within a rotary-wing environment.
• Held, or able to obtain, 1st Signature responsibilities on rotary aircraft.
• Working knowledge of MMO and AMO aviation requirements.
• Experience inspecting, replacing and testing aircraft systems and components.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and procedures.
• Current Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to transfer an existing SC from day one.

Responsibilities

• Carry out avionic maintenance on Chinook helicopters.
• Inspect, remove, replace and functionally test aircraft electrical and avionic systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform rectification activities.
• Complete maintenance documentation in accordance with military and Boeing procedures.
• Work in compliance with QR640 and Part 145 maintenance regulations.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Support the wider maintenance team to achieve programme objectives.
