Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm in Sheerness is seeking experienced engineers to install, service, and maintain commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers. Candidates should have a mechanical background and be flexible, as emergency call-outs may be required. A driving license and qualifications such as Commercial Gas Safe are preferred, along with a willingness to work on various commercial systems.

Qualifications

• DBS check required for some sites.

Responsibilities

• Installation of commercial temporary boilers.

Job description

We are currently looking for engineers with a background, experience and knowledge in the following:

• Commercial mechanical pipework
• Boiler rooms and systems
• Commercial boilers (forced draft burners)
• Working with natural gas and oil
• Chilled water systems and AHUs
• Air-cooled Chillers and fault-finding experience
• Understanding of electrical services and control wiring

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications but this is not essential:

• Commercial Gas Safe
• F-Gas Refrigeration certificate
• Full driving license

The successful candidate will provide installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers. They will also be required to assist with modifying existing pipework within old plant rooms.

Requirements

• Flexible and on call when required, i.e. you may be required to attend an emergency outside of usual working hours
• Clean driving license
• Successful candidates will be DBS checked, as some sites require this
• Boiler Management System (BMS) experience would be preferred
