Job summary

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of their client for Production Operatives to work within the chilled production area of a pet food manufacturing facility in the Snetterton area. You will handle frozen and chilled raw meat, following food safety standards and HACCP procedures, and wear appropriate PPE throughout your shift.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00, in a temperature-controlled environment (2–8°C). Pay is £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or manufacturing preferred.
• Comfortable handling raw meat in chilled environments.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physically fit for manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Load frozen blocks of raw meat into grinders and processing equipment.
• Move and handle chilled and frozen materials safely.
• Weigh and add ingredients to production mixers.
• Monitor production processes to meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and Hygiene procedures (HACCP adherence).
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Support general production duties as needed.
