Brightwork is recruiting for Abattoir General Operatives to work at our client's chilled meat processing site. The role is full-time with shifts starting at 7am, finishing typically between 3.30pm and 5pm. Training is provided, and a temp-to-perm path is offered.

Pay rates vary by period: £12.85 in weeks 1–12, £13.20 in weeks 13–26, and £13.60 thereafter. This environmental role involves handling animal guts and blood and requires reliability and a hardworking approach.

Responsibilities

• Picking, cutting, loading and general duties within Abattoir using knives and equipment
• Assist in the production of beef and lamb
• This is a role in a chilled environment involving working with animals' guts and blood
