A child care service provider in the UK is seeking dedicated individuals for a role involving the care of children and young people. Responsibilities include meeting their needs in line with Ofsted regulations, planning team rotas, and supervising staff. Candidates must be 21 years or older, have at least six months of experience in children's residential care, and hold a relevant level 3 qualification. 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years. Working on a rota basis – you will receive a monthly rota. This is a 365 day a year job, including Christmas, new year and all the fun holidays but it is even more fun when you celebrate with the children! The shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in.
Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations. Planning team rotas to supporting the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments. Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose. To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager. To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager. Welcome a diverse culture in the home. Creating a safe, family environment for the children.
You MUST be 21 due to Ofsted regulations. Driving is essential due to locations of the homes. You must have at least six month's experience in Children's residential care and you must hold a relevant level 3 qualification.
