Qualifications

  • You must be 21 due to Ofsted regulations.
  • Driving is essential due to locations of the homes.
  • At least six months experience in children's residential care is required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet the needs of the children and young people in line with Ofsted regulations.
  • Plan team rotas to support the Deputy and home manager.
  • Assist in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose.
  • Supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager.
  • Create a safe, family environment for the children.

Children's Residential - Complex Trauma Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Team Leaders! We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible children and young people through leading by example to other children's and young person\'s support workers.

Essential Information
  • We offer £2800 to £3600 sleep in payments (based on 8-10 sleep ins per month)
  • 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
  • Working on a rota basis - you will receive a monthly rota
  • The shifts consist of days and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in.
Job role
  • Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
  • Planning team rotas to supporting the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments
  • Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
  • To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
  • To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
  • Welcome a diverse culture in the home
