Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, seeks a Complex Care Assistant to provide overnight support in a family home for a non-mobile child. You will deliver personal care, administer PEG medications, and assist with respiratory care and seizure management in a compassionate, patient-focused role.

Full nurse-led training will be provided, and the role offers opportunities for career progression within a growing complex care team.

• Waking night | 10 pm - 7 am | Every 2nd Friday plus contingency cover available
• Day shift | 8 am - 2 pm or 9 am - 3 pm | 1 day per week - flexible as to what day this is

Driving Required:Yes - due to the geographical location of the role and lack of transport network links during shift times.

Job Description

What you’ll do

In this rewarding and important role, you will provide dedicated overnight support to a non-mobile child in their family home, delivering high-quality personal care, administering medication via PEG, and assisting with respiratory care and seizure management.

The household includes two friendly pet dogs, so a love of animals is a bonus.

We support individuals of all ages living with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and other complex needs, both in the community and in their homes. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a real difference, helping to brighten our clients’ lives while developing your own skills, confidence, and knowledge as a caring and compassionate professional.

The key tasks with this role include:
