Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a Level 2 Social Worker within the Children with Disabilities Service, based at Loxley House, Nottingham, with hybrid working and a full-time 37-hour week. You will assess needs, develop support plans and ensure children receive the right help at the right time.

Hours:

Full-time, 37 hours per week

As a Level 2 Social Worker within our Children with Disabilities Service, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will work alongside families and partner agencies to assess needs, develop effective support plans, and ensure children receive the right help at the right time.

We are looking for:

  • Qualified and registered social workers with at least 2-3 years' post-qualified experience
  • Experience of working with children with disabilities and/or SEND is preferred but not essential
  • We would also welcome applications from social workers with transferable skills and experience gained in Children's in Need, Child Protection, Children in Care, Care Proceedings, or other statutory children's services settings
