Pay: £14.31 per hour (Days)
Shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM (Days)
Full-time & Part-time positions available

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people with complex needs. You will lead and motivate a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support that promotes positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and supporting a team of residential support workers
Ensuring the highest standard of care for children and young people
Promoting independence, emotional well-being, and social development
Overseeing care plans, risk assessments, and daily records
Managing safeguarding concerns and responding appropriately
Supporting staff development through training, guidance, and supervision
Working closely with external professionals and families

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in residential childcare or a similar setting
Leadership or supervisory experience within a care environment
A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Passion for making a positive impact in young people’s lives
