Support Worker Role

We seek support workers who share our core values of patience, respect, compassion, understanding, and adaptability, and who are committed to supporting young people. We offer zero-hour contracts with competitive pay. Shifts are typically 12 hours. We are committed to providing tools for success, including career growth and professional development.

Requirements and Training

Applicants must:

• Have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Possess a warm, engaging personality suitable for interacting with children and young people
• Be flexible in work schedule
• Experience in supporting challenging young people is preferred but not essential

Upon successful interview, candidates will undergo onboarding, including 16 training modules, a 2-day Physical Intervention course with GSA Certified tutors, and a 1-day training on Children’s Safeguarding, Trauma Informed Practice, Polyvagal Theory, and Role Understanding.
