Support Worker – Children’s Residential Care (Autism & Learning Disabilities)

Location: Derbyshire | Salary: Competitive, plus sleep-in allowance and excellent benefits | Job Type: Full-time - Permanent

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join a respected independent care and education provider supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning difficulties.

As part of a supportive and inclusive team, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young people can thrive and achieve their potential.

What you’ll do
  • Provide high-quality care and support in a homely, child-focused setting
  • Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and personal development
  • Participate in a wide range of activities such as arts and crafts, cinema trips, sports, and outdoor adventures
  • Work closely with colleagues and professionals to ensure positive outcomes for each young person
  • Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding and regulatory standards
