Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in Cornwall. You will collaborate with children, families, and partner agencies to secure the best outcomes for young people in care.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, maintain records, and participate in multi-agency interventions. A frontline role with court involvement and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with children and families.

Responsibilities
