Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team in Doncaster. You will contribute to the safety, welfare and development of children and young people in the community.

You will conduct assessments, develop care plans with families and work with professionals to support children. A registration with Social Work England and a social work qualification are required.

Qualifications

• BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working with children and families in social work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
• Develop and implement care plans with families and other professionals.
• Manage a caseload effectively while complying with policies.
• Provide support and guidance to children and families to promote well-being.
