Milton Keynes City Council is seeking a Children's Services Support Officer to join the Support Officers Hub. We're recruiting a Children's Services Support Officer to join our Children's Services Support Officers Hub at Milton Keynes City Council. The Children's Services Support Officers Hub provides vital business support across Early Help and Protection, Corporate Parenting, Education including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. By co-ordinating statutory processes and supporting frontline services, we help ensure children, young people and families receive timely and effective support. Our work is essential to helping the Council deliver its statutory duties and improve outcomes for children and young people. As a Children's Services Support Officer, you'll play a key role in keeping services running smoothly and effectively. You'll provide high quality business support, co-ordinate meetings and statutory processes, maintain accurate records, support financial administration and help colleagues across Children's Services deliver the best possible outcomes for children and families. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys working in a busy environment where accuracy, organisation and communication are essential.
This is a Site-Based role, and you'll be expected to work from the designated workplace.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. If we offer you the role, we'll ask you to provide evidence of your driving licence and vehicle insurance, including cover for business use. Site based roles are mainly based at the workplace, with the option to work from home for up to two days a week, depending on service needs.
Home based roles are mainly based at home, with the expectation of attending the workplace up to one day a week.
The working arrangement for each role is set by the manager, based on service requirements.
