Job summary

Bolton Council is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality framework for Children’s Services and drive continuous improvement for children, young people and families. You will work under the Principal Social Worker to develop learning, monitor outcomes, and translate insights into better practice across teams.

You will influence strategic decisions, report to the Assurance and Performance Board, and collaborate with senior leaders and partners to embed reflection and improvement

Qualifications

• Social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills with a focus on service improvement.
• Experience leading quality assurance or equivalent transformation programmes.
• DBS clearance is required and employment conditional on satisfactory checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bolton's quality framework across Children’s Services to monitor outcomes.
• Identify where improvement is needed and translate findings into practice.
• Support and challenge at all levels and work with practitioners and managers to drive learning.
