Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join a Children in Care Team in the United Kingdom. The role requires a Social Work degree and at least three years of permanent contract experience in Children's Social Work.

Hybrid working is available with both home and office options. Applicants with a Degree/DipSW/CQSW and a valid UK driving license (desirable) will be looked upon favorably.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with at least 3 years' experience in Children's Social Work.
• Experience in Children in Care Team preferred.
• UK driving licence desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake ongoing assessment work with children and families.
• Progress children's plans and ensure access to appropriate services.
• Work in a hybrid model with home and office as required.

This team are responsible for undertaking ongoing assessment work and intervention with children and families.As well as progressing children's plans and ensuring that they are accessing the right level of service at the right time.This team do offer flexibility to work from home and in the office on a hybrid working from home scheme.

About you

It is essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience within Children's Social Work in order to be considered for this role.Having experience working with Children in Care Team previously aligns well with this role.A valid UK driving license and vehicle is desired but not essential for the success of this role.
