A children's charity in King's Lynn is seeking a Waking Nights Support Worker to assist children with disabilities during the night. This part-time role involves ensuring care and safety, helping young people rest, and contributing to their development. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to their professional growth. Starting Salary £19,110- £19,422 per annum, depending on skills and qualifications
Hours: Part time (30 hours per week) shift from 22:30 to 7:30am- this will involve alternate weekends

As a Break Waking Nights Support Worker in our Disability Services, you’ll play a daily hands‑on role - helping the young people living in our homes to grow in confidence, independence, and connection.
As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you’ll be hands on, working with the young people throughout the night helping them rest ready for the day ahead. The role includes a range of duties including preparing the home for the following day.
You’ll need to be an excellent team player who is warm, caring, calm and resilient enough to cope with the complex emotional and behavioural needs of the young people we support.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and organisational policies, contributing to the development, implementation, and monitoring of individual care plans.
Follow all health and safety guidance and training, reporting any hazards or risks promptly.

Should your application be successful, the first interview will be a Safe Care/Warner style interview, followed by a formal interview.
An enhanced DBS check is required for the role. This will be funded by Break.
