Key Health in Sharnbrook is seeking a Children's Residential Team Leader to join a dedicated childcare team. You will lead Residential Support Workers, coordinate shifts and ensure high-quality care for children with complex needs.

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker aiming to progress to leadership, offering safeguarding duties, staff supervision, and close collaboration with social workers and management.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare settings with children and young people.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child protection awareness.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support colleagues.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Residential Support Workers.
• Coordinate shifts and ensure smooth day-to-day running of the home.
• Deliver high-quality care to children with complex needs.
• Support staff with behaviour management, de-escalation and safeguarding.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans are followed.
• Conduct staff supervisions and support ongoing development.
• Maintain accurate care records and daily documentation.
• Promote a safe, nurturing environment and work with professionals.
