Job description
Support Worker

Salary: £24,206 to £24,601 per annum, depending on qualifications. Maximum full‑time rate potential is £25,392 per annum, performance related.

Hours: Full time (38 hours per week).

Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

About the role

As a Break support worker you’ll work hands‑on day‑in‑day‑out with the young people living in the children’s home. Your first twelve months will focus on building relationships with the young people you support, planning and taking part in trips and activities, and learning new skills to help them overcome communication difficulties.

Qualifications and requirements

• You must successfully complete an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare before completing 24 months of Support Work (fully funded by Break).
• You must hold a full, valid, manual driving licence.
• You will be required to work shifts.
• You will need to pass an enhanced DBS check (funded by Break).
