Our mission is to drive effective outcomes through relational practice, ensuring that every young person receives the support they need.

Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in supporting young people in our care. This role is based in the UK and plays a crucial part in fostering a safe and nurturing environment that aligns with our organizational values.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to young people in residential settings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Foster positive relationships with young people, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
  • Collaborate with social workers, educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress.
  • Engage young people in activities that promote personal development.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Proven experience working with children or young people in a care setting.
  • Strong understanding of childcare principles and practices.
  • Ability to develop and implement care plans effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with young people and team members.
  • Valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
  • Basic IT skills are beneficial but not required.
  • Level 3 or 5 in Residential childcare (Not essential as this will be offered by fevaca)
