Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting a Residential Care Practitioner to join the Children and Families team in Nuneaton. You will provide daily care, build trusting relationships with children and their families, and support access to education, health services, hobbies and community activities.

You will work as part of an experienced, supportive team, with a comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development.

The Role

Working as part of a supportive and experienced team, you will:

• Provide high-quality day-to-day care and support to children and young people.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people and their families.
• Support children to access education, health appointments, hobbies, and community activities.
• Contribute to care planning and ensure care plans are followed.

• Promote young people's physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ensure all statutory regulations, policies, and safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Promote equality, diversity, anti-discriminatory and anti-racist practice.
