Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified Children’s Nurse to join a specialist school supporting pupils with complex medical and learning needs. You will provide day-to-day clinical support, including medication administration, seizure management, and feeding plans.

You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver joined-up care, support health plans, and guide staff on health protocols and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND or medical needs.
• Strong communicator, team player, and collaborative environment.
• Caring, down-to-earth approach that puts pupils first.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day clinical support for pupils, including medication, seizure management, and feeding plans.
• Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families to deliver high-quality, joined-up care.
• Supporting health plans and acting as the go-to contact for medical guidance in school.
• Helping to train and guide staff on health protocols and emergency responses.
