Forest Care Selection is working with a national children’s charity that delivers a wide range of services to Children and Young People across the country.

This innovative organisation is seeking a Children’s Home Manager to oversee a 3‑bed specialist residential childcare setting in the Ilford area. This is a unique opportunity to lead an established service for Children and Young People with a Learning Disability.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee an established residential childcare setting and ensure its continued compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead an established staff team to deliver high quality care and support to Children and Young People.
  • Become the registered manager of the service under OFSTED.
  • Develop positive working relationships with external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or a relevant qualification such as Social Work.
  • Experience of leading in residential childcare settings, ideally as the registered manager or at a deputy level with tenure.
  • Knowledge of PBS strategies and behaviour that challenges.
