Nudge Education Limited is seeking compassionate practitioners to provide personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH or additional needs in a community-based setting. You will deliver tailored intervention sessions, build trust, monitor progress and report safeguarding concerns.

We welcome candidates from education, youth work, healthcare or related fields who value empathy, resilience and the ability to connect with vulnerable young people.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience supporting young people with PDA and complex needs.
• Willing to support with intimate care.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week.

Around 90,000 young people across the UK are persistently absent from education each year. At Nudge Education, we support children and young people who are disengaged from education through tailored mentoring and interventions that help them reconnect, rebuild confidence, and thrive.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

You will:

• Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and regional teams

Who We’re Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

We value empathy, resilience, creativity, and the ability to build trust with vulnerable young people.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
• Experience supporting young people with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) and complex needs
• Willing to support with intimate care
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week to provide consistency for our young people
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match
• £16–£25 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
• Monday–Friday daytime availability required
• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
