Job summary

St Francis Church Chandler's Ford in Hampshire is seeking a Children and Families Minister to lead and grow our ministry for 0–11s and their families, building on existing foundations and shaping what God is calling us to. You will lead, train, and inspire volunteers; develop creative ways to connect with families; and strengthen links with the local church school within a welcoming, Spirit-filled church community.

Closing date: Noon on 19 June. Interview date: 8 July.

We are excited to be seeking a new Children and Families Minister to lead and grow our ministry among 0–11s and their families. This is a key role with a real opportunity to shape the future, building on strong existing foundations and helping us step into all that God is calling us to.

The Role

You will:

• Lead and develop our children’s ministry (0–11s), helping children grow in faith and confidence in God
• Build strong, supportive relationships with families, equipping them in discipleship at home
• Inspire, grow, and lead a team of committed volunteers
• Develop creative and outward-looking ways to connect with families in our community
• Build on our strong links with the local church school
