Job summary

Enable Scotland is hiring Childcare Practitioners in Bishopbriggs to support Stephen. This 30-hour-per-week role includes day, back, and overnight shifts with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. You will help the person we support achieve goals and live their best life in a rewarding social care setting.

Join a bespoke team around the individual to safeguard wellbeing and aspirations. Experience is not required; your values and transferable skills matter most.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.
• Commitment, dedication and genuine desire to help.
• Strong values and transferable skills from other roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist Stephen with daily living tasks including personal care.
• Support moving and handling and positive behavioural support as needed.
• Assist Stephen to engage with his social networks and activities.
• Use communication aids (Makaton, PEC symbols, story boards) to understand and be understood.
