A prominent recruitment firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Childcare Locum Lawyer for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will manage a busy caseload involving care cases and remote advocacy. Previous experience in local authority settings is preferred, but candidates from the private sector with significant experience in public law childcare cases are also encouraged to apply. Childcare Locum Lawyer
The role

We are seeking an experienced childcare lawyer to join one of our long-standing local authority clients whilst they undertake permanent recruitment.

Role Details

This is a fully remote role whereby you will manage a busy caseload of both care cases and some in pre-proceedings, alongside remote advocacy.

Full-time hours over 5 days required.

Person specification

We are looking for a qualified lawyer – solicitor, barrister with sufficient PQE to be able to undertake the role with minimum supervision. Ideally, applicants will have previous local authority experience; however candidates from the private sector who have significant, demonstrable experience of managing public law childcare cases are also encouraged to apply.
