As part of our teaching team, you’ll inspire the next generation of childcare professionals by bringing your knowledge, experience and creativity to the classroom. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and developing our childcare curriculum, contributing to the continued growth of our innovative and learner‑centric programme offer.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Planning, delivering and continuously improving high‑quality lessons and schemes of work that stretch, challenge and inspire learners across a range of abilities and levels
  • Creating engaging learning materials, activities and digital resources that support strong learner progress and align with curriculum and qualification requirements
  • Developing learner‑centred assessment strategies, incorporating formative and summative assessment, and providing constructive/timely feedback to support student growth
  • Building a positive, inclusive and professional classroom culture whereby every learner feels valued, motivated and supported to achieve their goals
  • Providing regular coaching, mentoring and pastoral support to help students develop confidence, resilience and readiness for their next steps
  • Staying abreast regarding changes in the childcare field, safeguarding updates, legislation and workforce skills needs to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and employment‑focused
What you’ll need:
  • Recent experience teaching Childcare from entry‑level through to Level 2 and Level 3 – ideally within a Further Education/College setting; alongside recent experience in practice/working in a vocational setting within early‑years.
  • Working towards/currently hold a recognised teaching qualification demonstrating your commitment to professional standards and effective pedagogy
  • A learner‑centred approach with the ability to motivate, inspire and support students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential
