Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking a proactive Teacher Assistant to support teachers and the director in creating a nurturing, secure environment for children and in documenting their development for families.

You will help design engaging activities, facilitate daily transitions from home to the centre, maintain organized materials, and communicate regularly with parents while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with a high level of energy.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus basic computer literacy.
• Familiarity with child development principles.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Background check and health screening required.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in curricula activities and promote their active participation.
• Take charge of classroom maintenance, ensuring materials are clean, organized, and readily available.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with parents through informal conversations and progress updates.
• Model good hygiene and self-help habits, encouraging positive behaviors.
• Facilitate daily transitions of children from home to the centre.
