Job summary

Qualifications

• One year’s experience caring for children aged under 12 years.
• Knowledge of child observation, planning, and recording.
• Available to work from 7.30am and/or until 6.00pm.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager in providing a stimulating program.
• Help prepare the areas for children daily.
• Ensure all children and parents are warmly greeted.
• Maintain hygiene standards at all times.

Skills

Knowledge of child development

Good spoken and written English

Ability to cope with the physical demands of caring for young children

Over 18 years at time of commencement

Valid UK driver's license

Education

NVQ3 in Childcare or equivalent

NVQ2 in Childcare or equivalent
