Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs is seeking a Childcare Assistant to lead games, sports and art sessions for children aged 3–12 after school and on weekends. The role supports holiday clubs during school breaks, offering fun, safe activities and encouraging active participation.

You will join a team that values inclusion, safety, and nurturing environments, with opportunities for development within the club network. Hours are flexible, with a minimum commitment that supports our family-focused program.

Qualifications

• 17+ years old and working towards a childcare/teaching/coaching qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred.
• Demonstrates genuine passion for engaging children in activities.

Responsibilities

• Host a variety of games, sporting activities and art sessions for ages 3–12 after school and at weekends.
• Support holiday club programs during school holidays with fun sports camps.
• Create a welcoming, safe environment that encourages participation and inclusion.

As a qualified DL Kids Coach, you will host a variety of games, sporting activities, and art sessions with our members aged between 3 and 12, both after school and at weekends. Our holiday club programs run during school holidays and are a fantastic sport camps for our younger members to have fun and explore their physical sides.

Hours will vary but will be upwards of 8 hours per week as a minimum.
