Job description

Be among the first applicants to join Mumbles Day Nurseries. Mumbles Day Nurseries has two Staffordshire settings, situated in the Harrowby Estate and the rural village of Sandon as well as the market town of Stone. We nurture children between 0 and 5 years and offer a range of extra-curricular activities such as Forest Schools. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team and work closely with the nursery manager and professional team. The nurseries have an excellent reputation and are accredited for high standards.

Role And Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing a range of activities that support children\'s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for the children.
  • Support childrens social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Engage with children through play, storytelling, and creative activities.
  • Help maintain accurate records of childrens progress and share with parents and caregivers.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery/preschool.
  • Attend training sessions and complete and achieve the Level 2 qualification.

This apprenticeship involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study, giving you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible. On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained: Early Years Practitioner Level 2.

Hours: Monday-Friday (between 07:30-18:00).
