Job summary

A community school in London is seeking a Child Protection and Safeguarding Manager. This part-time role involves providing support to the Leadership team and overseeing safeguarding issues to ensure a safe environment for students. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of child protection and excellent leadership skills. The position is for 14 hours a week, working Monday and Tuesday during term time.

Job Title: Child Protection and Safeguarding Manager

Location: Plumstead, South East London

Salary: Scale PO3 £15,452 per annum (Actual gross salary)

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time, 14 hours per week to be worked Monday and Tuesday, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 1 week)

About the role

We are seeking a Child Protection and Safeguarding Manager to work Monday and Tuesday each week, sharing the role with a colleague who works 3 days per week.

You will support the Leadership team to provide a safe environment in which students can develop and learn.
